We woke up, after a stormy night on the ship, with one hour gone....

Picking up our stuff we went to the car deck. Waiting to unload....waiting....waiting...we were the last car leaving the ferry.

Starting our route to Hamburg. Our first charge stop was an Hyundai dealership in Zwaag. Very friendly welcome, the pump was blocked, but they free it only minutes later. We talked to an engineer of Solartechno who is involved in reusing batteries from Mitsubishi Outlander for second life projects. (His car blocked the pump) He invited us to show us his actual project, while we are charging. Only a few meters away, they build an "Container" with a Lithium Battery build from old Outlander batteries, equipped with Solar chargers and converters. So that this facility can be shipped as one unit to Africa, where it should replace common diesel power aggregates. Very nice talk to "Marco" which, by the way, speaks German very well! Thx a lot for your presentation!

On our return to Hamburg, all the time the wind was very strong from west. So we had back-winds all the time, resulting in low consumption at high speed with our ENV. I never before drove so fast with such a great range :-)

We did our charge stops near Zwaag, Zurich, Groningen, Leer, Oldenburg, Bremen and Rade.

I can say, more than 500km a day with the ENV, is not common and shouldn't be done. Especially with children at the back seats.

But driving behind a "flix bus" is a fast way to travel and save the day for the children, because flix busses have free wifi :-)

Finally we arrived at home. Home sweet home.
