Today we passed the highlands a last time. Going from Dufftown to Glenlivet, further to tomintoul, pass cock bridge, charge in Aboyne and arrived in stonehaven. We visited the Glenlivet distillery, I think "a must have" on an Scotland tour. Then charge in tomintoul, works as expected. We charged nearly full, because the charger in Aboyne was marked as non-functional in zapmap.

On the highest point of the route (where you can find many ski lifts) the SOC was down to 64%, but we where aware, that most of the energy used up will be regained when going downhill. On the top you will be presented with an amazing view over the highlands.

We reached Aboyne. And the pump was fully operational.....i think the status of the pumps in zapmap is not as good as our German "going electric" map.

If only one type of connector is marked bad, it might be only a reported individual user problem. Then chances that it will work anyway might good. If there are many reports or all connector's marked down, there might be a real serious problem with the pump.

On the last leg we had two incidents. First was nice, we stop at "Bridge of feugh" witch we found randomly. Very nice, small waterfalls. Standing on a bridge you can observe salmons try jumping upwards the falls.

The second wasn't that nice for sure. We drove on small narrow roads, beside the main motorways. I drove slowly and carefully on these narrow and curvy roads. But anyway some "maybe" locals going full risk and speed. I really can't understand this aggressive driving here in UK. So an UK car goes by, with high speed, as often before. Five minutes later we pass an accident scene with two cars, one blue goes of the road, hitting the fields. This was the car behind us, witch does overtake us in that aggressive style. Anyway, help was already there and I hope the passengers are healthy. But I don't have any apologies for people risks there own life and that of my family and mine !!!

Finally we reached stonehaven, got a pitch in 30 meter distance to the water.

Tomorrow's plan: visit stonehaven castle, then follow the coast to the south.

Good night from stonehaven.
